WIPocalypse August Check-In

Wow!!!!  I have been having a really crazy stitching month.  I took part in 2 counting challenges this month via 2 Facebook groups - The Ultimate Cross Stitch Group and Semi-Sane Stitchers and manage to put in well over 10,000 stitches in over 10 WIPs.  The Semi-Sane Stitchers challenge required me to work on a minimum of 10 WIPs and I am currently on my 11th.

I want to stitch on every chart in my stash and more!!!!!!!  I have several Blackbird Designs, Plum Street Samplers and Brenda Gervais charts that I want to get at before I die.

Fully Finished Gallery 2019 - August Check-In

This month was not as productive as the previous months.  All I managed to do was to fully finish two Christmas ornaments.  Both designs are by Dragon Dreams.  The top one was a 2015 free treat that can be found on her Facebook page, the bottom is from the 2018 JCS Christmas Ornament Issue called What Now?

I have several projects in the queue that I meant to get to this month but it just didn't happen.  Maybe next month.

WIPocalypse 2019 - July Report

Wow!!!!  Where does the time go.  It is already the end of July!!!  So much to stitch and so little time!!!! (And I am retired!)

Despite my whining, I had fairly productive month.

I manage to finish stitching and fully finish 3 Christmas Ornaments (all are from 2018 JCS Christmas Issue:

June WIPocalypse Report

All in all a very successful month.  I finished another ornament in the JCS Stitch Along (Facebook).

I also finished stitching the final 7 A Year in Chalk charts by Hands on Design that I started in Stitch Maynia 2019:

The rest of the month I concentrated my efforts into finishing Seasons In Chalk: Spring (Hands on Design - Artwork by Priscilla Blain - JCS April 2016)  and Halloween Fairy (aka Trick or Treat Fairy) by Nora Corbett (downloaded from Herrschnerrs, originally published in Cross Stitch & Needlework September 2008)  They are almost done and should hopefully be finished by the end of next month. 

This month's question is "How are you doing with your goals so far this year?"  As a rule I don't set goals (too much pressure) but I do have to say that I am very happy with the number of finishes (including some FFOs) I have managed so far and hope it continues until the end of the year.
