Hi! I’m Michelle.
I’m passionate about helping court reporters save time and reduce stress by providing careful, dependable PDF transcript proofreading.
When I’m not proofreading, you’ll usually find me reading mystery or true crime books, shopping with my daughter, antiquing with my mom, or crocheting my latest project.
I believe everyone deserves more time to enjoy the things they love, and I’m proud to help my clients make that happen.
FAQs
What types of documents do you proofread?
I proofread PDF documents. Please make sure your transcript is in PDF format before sending.
What are your rates and turnaround times?
You can view my rate sheet here.
Do you work with tight deadlines?
Yes. I understand the fast-paced nature of court reporting and work hard to meet agreed-upon deadlines.
What types of payments do you accept?
I invoice through Wave, which accepts major credit cards, Apple Pay, and bank transfers. If you prefer, I can also invoice you through PayPal. For first-time court reporters, I send invoices upon completion of the work. For regular clients, I send invoices on the first of each month. Payment is due within 15 days, and I reserve the right to add late fees to invoices that are not paid on time.
Why should I hire a proofreader?
Having another trained set of eyes review your transcript can help catch small errors before your work reaches your client, giving you greater confidence and saving you valuable time.
