Digital skills are the practical abilities needed to use computers, smartphones, the internet, and digital technologies effectively and safely. They include tasks such as using Microsoft Office, browsing the internet, managing emails, creating digital content, using social media professionally, and protecting personal information online.

Community journalism empowers local people to tell the stories that matter most to their communities. It promotes awareness, accountability, and civic participation by highlighting local issues, achievements, and solutions. Through inclusive reporting, it gives every voice an opportunity to be heard and drive positive change.

ESOL programmes help non-native English speakers develop their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills for everyday life, education, and employment. These programmes improve communication, boost confidence, and support learners in integrating into their communities while expanding their academic and career opportunities

ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) for Parents is a programme that helps parents improve their English language skills while building confidence in supporting their children's education and communicating with schools, healthcare providers, and local services. It enhances everyday communication, promotes community participation, and empowers parents to navigate daily life more effectively.

ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) with Driving Theory combines English language learning with preparation for the driving theory test. The programme helps learners improve their speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills while building the vocabulary and knowledge needed to understand road signs, traffic rules, and safe driving practices, increasing their confidence for both daily communication and the driving theory exam.

Numeracy skills are the ability to understand and use numbers confidently in everyday life. They include basic mathematics, problem-solving, measurement, budgeting, and interpreting data, helping individuals make informed decisions at home, in education, and in the workplace.

Train the Trainer (Trainer Course) equips individuals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively plan, deliver, and evaluate training sessions. Participants learn facilitation techniques, communication skills, learner engagement strategies, and assessment methods, enabling them to deliver impactful training in professional and community settings.

Community Mental Health First Aid (CTMHFA) training equips individuals with the skills to recognize the signs of common mental health challenges, provide initial support, and guide people to appropriate professional help. The training promotes mental health awareness, reduces stigma, and strengthens communities by enabling participants to respond confidently and compassionately to those experiencing mental health difficulties

Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) is the practice of partially or totally removing or injuring the external female genitalia for non-medical reasons. It is a violation of human rights that can cause severe physical, emotional, and psychological harm. Ending FGM requires community awareness, education, advocacy, and the protection of girls' rights to health, safety, and dignity.

Safeguarding Level 1 provides a basic understanding of safeguarding principles, helping individuals recognize signs of abuse, neglect, and exploitation, understand their responsibilities, and know how to report concerns appropriately. It promotes safe environments and supports the protection and wellbeing of children and vulnerable adults.

Safeguarding Level 2 training provides individuals with the knowledge and practical skills to recognize, respond to, and report safeguarding concerns involving children and vulnerable adults. It covers identifying signs of abuse and neglect, understanding safeguarding responsibilities, following reporting procedures, and promoting safe, supportive environments in line with legal and organizational safeguarding standards.

Safeguarding Level 3 is advanced training designed for professionals and volunteers who have a lead role in protecting children and vulnerable adults. It provides the knowledge and skills to identify signs of abuse and neglect, respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns, understand legal responsibilities, and work effectively with other agencies to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and protection of those at risk.
