I've finally decided it's time to look into gathering some signatures and letting Mattel know people are unhappy about the glue issue, and not only are they unhappy but they're not alone. If you've had your dolls ruined by glue, become sticky, or even lose their hair in clumps from this problem - sign! Let others know their concerns are valid whilst also alerting Mattel that their customers are unhappy with these shoddy manufacturing practices!

Mattel: Stop using glue in the manufacturing of dolls!

Not only is the glue problem still prevalent, but Indonesia-based defects are still obvious in things like eye screening and hairing. Earlier today I was at my semi-local Justice in search of the Scaris dolls and the quality control was non-existent. There were two Rochelles and one was missing half an eye while the other was extremely thinly haired on one side of her head. Her scalp paint was clearly visible from outside the box. Not only that but the single remaining Jinafire had one eye longer than the other and dipping down her cheek.

Incredibly disappointing, I'd say. I left them on the shelf.

Let's (politely) make some noise. Mattel heard their customers about the CAM torsos, maybe they'll hear us about these issues too.
