Mayday aboard the Scallop

The research ship Q8-05B SCALLOP has been left damaged and drifting by the initial attacks of a gang of pirates from a nearby asteroid. Now the crew must navigate their own derelict ship and prepare to repel boarders if they want a chance at surviving.

This dungeon is set aboard a derelict spaceship under siege. It began as a classic inversion of the dungeon crawl -- players begin the game trapped in a familiar place--appropriate to this year's OPDC theme 'never split the party' -- keeping everyone together isn't just a good strategy, it's a restriction placed by the dungeon itself, the stifling, claustrophobic closeness of space travel. However, there's a second level: the escape pod, detachable main module, and scuttling protocol mean there are exits, changes, other ways to split the party--but will this freedom help the PCs? Or provide a new obstacle of their own making?
