This game is gorgeous and the prose is absolutely incredible. Solaris' dynamic with Nina and Mr. Neighbor was really fun to read and I enjoyed as the story slowly unravels her history with them and her Mother.
There are so many lines that resonated with me, but the one where Mr. Neighbor says that Solaris is just a girl and that he sees and recognizes who she is regardless of her being human or not was beautifully written. Overall this was a really poignant story and I loved every second of it.
Thank you to the team for making this!
thank you for tons for playing!!! it's truly encouraging to hear it reached you, and that you had a great time reading :D
In a way, this VN feels like macrodosing on every negative thought that comes to mind with the current state of things on Earth. This was a rather scary feeling to experience as I read through it. The story giving information to me over time was pleasurable too. It is an interesting world- despite it being the worst outcome of the current state of things (that is probably why).
I got ending 3 which surprised me as I was preparing for every other feeling aside from that one. It made me feel comforted, so comfortable that for now I am going to seek out the other endings later.
The visuals were fantastic also. CRT lines are always scary as they can easily make things hard to see, but it was beautiful here. The use of transitions is very lovely, done in a way I haven't really seen before. Really great work!!!!!!!!! I am crying!!
EDIT: I sat down and got the other endings haha ^^ I am happy I got every ending again. The discussions regarding art and the fate of artists are good. Ending 2 was frightening, but it reminded me of many artists' self destruction as a result of devotion or the need to retraumatize themselves over and over again.. Thank you for submitting!
thank you for such a thoughtful comment and even taking the time to go back for other endings :')
I really enjoyed the visuals here, they really helped contribute to the atmosphere.
thank you tons ! we love CRTs :DD
