Working wIth the OSCE

Positions within the Organization for Security and Cooperation (OSCE) are advertised on the OSCE Employment website. The U.S. government does not receive applications for OSCE employment. There are two methods of employment with the OSCE: secondment and contract.

OSCE SECONDED POSITIONS

OSCE participating States “second” their citizens to support the organization, that is, they lend or assign their nationals to positions within the OSCE. The U.S. Mission works with a U.S. government contractor to provide qualified U.S. individuals for assignments with the OSCE. The contractor maintains a database of qualified individuals and identifies candidates when the U.S. Mission wishes to nominate a U.S. citizen for a specific vacancy. If the OSCE selects a U.S. nominated candidate, the contractor hires the individual at our behest and deploys him/her to the OSCE. For positions contact Amentum.

PLEASE NOTE: Currently the USOSCE is not seconding to the OSCE’s Junior Professional Program.

To participate in OSCE Election Observations please also contact Amentum.

OSCE CONTRACTED POSITIONS

Positions listed on the OSCE Employment website designated as “Contracted” indicate that the OSCE hires directly for these jobs. OSCE participating States do not nominate or compensate candidates. You must apply directly with the OSCE and may use the online or printable application provided on its employment website.
