How to create polygon pads with holes for a mutual capacitance switch/button footprint?

6 days agoThank you for the response. I am sorry if my explanation was not very clear.
I want to create a pad only on the top layer, but the pad has empty space inside the shape. Like this attached graphic .. the outline of a square, but not filled in. This graphic would be a single pad.
I don't want to create a through-hole in the pcb.

How to keep track width from pin to pin?

3 days agoFirst, you need to open the design rules, find "Wires" in the rule manager, click the "+" sign to create a new wire rule, set the desired wire width, and name it. Then, on the same page, find "Network Rules" - "Physical" - "Wires". Assign the network you need to configure to the wire rule you just created. After that, wires coming from this pin can use the same wire width.

a day agoPlease check whether the editor mode you are using is fully offline mode. Fully offline mode does not support viewing 3D previews and 3D models. You must switch to full online mode or half-offline mode.
