The Solo Booklet
A downloadable game
A 16 page, US Zine-sized booklet (including covers) of tables and tools to facilitate GM-less role-playing. Useful for the solo player or the GM wanting a simple at-hand tool for rolling on the fly.
Includes d6, 2d6, d10 & d20 tables for things such as Names, Events, Settlements, Quests, Landmarks, Encounters, Underworld Details, Items, Treasure, and a 2d6 Geomorph table. Additionally, various Oracle tables are also included.
This is not the most extensive book on the market, nor a groundbreaking one. It is a modest book, tailored to an "old school"/ "vanilla fantasy" type of play, that is easy to tuck into your current game book. A slim and cleanly laid out booklet, with easy to parse tables.
Inspired by and borrows ideas from Mythic Gamemaster Emulator, One Page Solo Engine, The Perilous Wilds, and Shadowdark.

7+ on 2d6 is not 50/50
This is an awesome tool! I do have a question on the geomorphs page. When you say "if negative," do you mean if there is no monster encounter, you would then roll for feature/event? Or that if the encounter is not good per se? Sorry for the confusion.
Hello and thank you for the question. In hindsight, this could have been worded a little differently. In many old school dungeon games, you roll 1d6 to see if there is a monster in the room. Affirmative on a 1 (sometimes 1 or 2). Other systems: affirmative on a 5 and/or 6.
"If negative," means, if there isn't a monster in the room (per your chosen game's particular rules), then roll 1d6 to see if there is an Event or Feature.
Got it, that was my assumption. Thank you for the reply!
I took a quick peak at this and really enjoyed it. It will probably end up in a solo kit of mine soon. Thanks for sharing and contributing to the hobby!
You’re most welcome and thank you!
A great solo tool! :)
Thank you! May your sessions be full of adventure
Excellent solo system! Easy to use and informative Oracles led me on a fine adventure right till death (the perils of Mörk Borg haha). Highly recommend. (wanted to put my review here too)
