Hi anon!

Like in most things, my answer to tedious tasks is optimization with photoshop actions. I do not have standard actions for this since I like to make slightly different swatches per set, but basically what I do is record the steps after I copy my texture to the clipboard. Usually the steps are:

Paste texture in swatch.bmp → Resize → Adjust position of image → Sharpen → Fade Sharpen 40% → Flatten → Save

(For eyes, you will also need to rotate the image after pasting, and to hide some of the messy sclera texture I add a black fuzzy outline, I know there's a specific name for this effect but I can't remember it lol.)

I then import the file with the new swatch in BodyShop and move on to the next texture.

(If I'm feeling extra lazy I will also have additional starting steps to copy the texture, switch to the swatch.bmp image, do everything listed above, and then switch back to the psd where I have all my textures saved as layers so that literally all I have to do is click the next texture layer. But this requires you to open your images in a particular order since the actual action steps recorded will be "select next document" and "select previous document," so it matters what photoshop recognizes as your first and second documents, if that makes sense.)

I whipped up some quick sample actions so you can get an idea of how they work, but I would encourage making your own versions so that you can make sure they're the right size and centered how you want. I didn't make one for blush because it's hard to estimate what part of that you would want to show.

Sample Swatch Actions: SFS / Mega

An anon recently WCIF'd the hair used on the 11Cmay model from my September face templates. It ended up being a slightly more complicated WCIF than most because the "hair" is in fact not just a hair but separate accessory buns and a flower crown, too. The hair and buns are by azaya but were never released and the flower crown is by lilith-sims but the original DL link is down. Also I broke the buns trying to bin them and had to remake them. But! That gave me the chance to update part of the texture and add the new colors, making it an official Pazooka©®™ project.

Hair: A retexture of Skysims 116 (F only). azaya made this hair literally 10 years ago when we were between color palettes, so there's a few of the 2020 colors, but not all. Mesh included.

Buns: Originally from Newsea's Cauliflower hair, chopped off and turned into an accessory by misstiikeri, retextured and recolored by azaya and me. These are for both F and M, young adult, adult and elder. Recolored in the old palette, all the 2020 colors, and The Endless Harvest. Mesh included.

Flower crown: Not by me! These are by lilith-sims but the original download link is down. I've reuploaded the recolors that I kept (blue, pink, white) because according to her FAQ she's not active at the moment. Lilith, if you would like me to take these down, just lmk! One more note abt the buns! I don't know if this is just my game or a general thing, but in BodyShop and CAS, the buns do not show a working alpha. The alpha works fine during play, as you can see in the preview. Again, not sure if this is a problem with my install/graphics settings, or general TS2 fuckery. Just something to be aware of if you use them on a sim that you intend to share and only post BodyShop pics.

Edit:  An anon requested the Gleaming model so I added a link for her! Her skintone was a work in progress when I took the preview pics for the hair so it's a lil different now that it's finished (not as shiny in the face/chest). You can see the changes here.

Edit 2: cosmetical requested some of the other models. I only had the "natural" color action ones still in my BodyShop so links for those have been added as well!

Day 13! Some lip blends. There's 70 of each in colors by me and furbyq, but not all the same colors, 'cause I'm nothing if not inconsistent.


This is the, what, third time I've taken a crack at these Ephemera lips? But I think I'm finally happy with them. I mixed them with a lip by Lilith-sims that I had floating around and tried to paint out some of the really sharp cracks without losing all of the distinctive lower lip highlights.

Next, these are a blend of two other blends of mine. The Enayla Unearthly lips from this post and the Destiny Godley-inspired matte lips from this post. I needed some lips for my aliens that were matte but not too matte and I think these strike that balance pretty well.
