Quintillion Quest Demo

An active incremental game

Roleplay as a person in a fantasy world with limited mental and physical resources, where you need to get those resources high enough to get through the challenges that your life brings.

On your way to greatness you will explore the Town and interact with various NPC-s.  Play mini-games that reward you with a lot of resources for just a few clicks. And eventually... reach the quintillions?

Quintillion Quest features some twists to  the regular incremental game formula:

  • It is not linear - there are many ways to beat the game.
  • Instead of prestiges there are separate runs, with permanent progress between the them.
  • There are roguelite elements, which add some randomness.
  • Each run can be failed halfway, if you fail to meet certain goals.
  • The game consists of exploring all the different options you have and choosing the best ones.
  • Having skill in the game is becoming familiar all its options and optimizing your runs.

The game is still in development and the full version will release on Steam.

Very fun, looking forward to a full release. Is there a way to wishlist available?

Thanks! You can wishlist the full version on Steam:

I've been waiting for a game like this for a long time. A guy in a fantasy setting wanting to be an adventurer but struggling to make rent, switching different jobs and finding their own path.

There's a number of different things that have their own depth. Going to the temple unlocks spiritual resources, going to the library gives mental resources and ideas, I really love the concept.

I hope you'll set up a community Discord so that you may share updates with us and also get a more organized and positive feedback!

I'm glad you liked my game!

I actually have a Discord for the game where I post a bit of my dev log, but it's not very active otherwise. You can find a link to it in the game's settings menu.

Hi there, do you have any plans to localize your game? I'm a translator and would like to help translate it into Portuguese for free.

Thank you for the offer.

Localizing it would be a lot of work, because I didn't plan ahead for it. I guess it would be possible, but not planning to localize it currently.

Thanks for letting know.

Hi,
I am going to localize my game after all. Are you still interested in the work? There will be about 8000 words to translate.

Sure, I can still localize your game, but I’m afraid I can’t do it for free this time. It would be $20 for either Spanish or Portuguese.

I added you on Discord for further discussion!

nice game but the balance seems to be clearly not here. the quests that require to have 37K glimpse for example when you can have at most 1-2K by going full earning glimpse. the scaling seems to be bad balanced. i like the game but it clearly need improvements.

You are basically right about the balance, it is not the best.

But about the glimpse thing in particular - in later stages of the game you will get millions of glimpse, so your quests were just ahead of the progress in the temple.

I will consider making the quest requirements increase more slowly.

I felt the music doesn't fit the game that much.

I also think the required amount should be shown the other way because it's more intuitive. When I see 10/2 I understand I have 10 and it costs 2, but here it's the opposite.

The game is promising! :)

Thanks for the feedback!

You might be right about the required amount, I will try it out the other way.

this is really cute, i like the lack of explanation + combo of real time and turn-based lots. only thing i noticed is that sometimes the label of where u are (e.g. "temple") can go underneath the "town" button, so when u click on "town" it clicks on "temple" instead. that's it tho :)

Thank you for playing and for your feedback!

I saw what you meant by the label going over the Town button, will fix it with the next update.
Thanks for pointing it out!

great stuff! took a few tries to get to the end, and I'll probably be playing for all the achievements for a while. you've got a good thing here!!
