    Klaus is the program lead of Automattic’s credentialing program. He has more than 25 years of industry experience, mostly in software development, spanning consulting, technical account and program management.

    Web technologies, WordPress, dinghy sailing, dinghy instructing and coaching, SUP, windsurfing, sci-fi, nature, classical guitar.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I started using WordPress for my personal blog in 2013.

    Three years later, I joined Automattic’s VIP team as a Technical Account Manager, bringing together my enterprise development experience with my long‑standing enthusiasm for WordPress and open source. I’ve not looked back.
