Team up with a mechanical pal and row for the gold in the annual Fish Bowl!
So, you wanna enter the big annual boat-racing competition! It's quite an important event, you know. Alas, evil “RowBots” have torn the whole tourney from the hands of human — (err, animal?) — racers, and the competition's only getting worse. By tandem-rowing with a defective junkyard RowBot of your own, it's your goal to defeat these baddies...but soon you may realize, that these waters go deeper than you thought.
Can you put a stop to the nefarious Robo-X corpo-conglomerate led by the mischievous Shark Boss, put the evil RowBots in their place once and for all, and win back the spirit of the Fish Bowl (and, perhaps more importantly, that big golden trophy)?
With a lengthy story mode across seven stages, loads of hand-animated cutscenes, competitive on-line leaderboards, and more; RowBot Rally is a tremendously fun top-down boat-racing game for Playdate!

I fully understaned that adding more then 7 track would mess up the narrative/balance of the game but would it possible to suggest in a future update if you have time to add a Mirror Mod that flip all turn left to right.
it be an easier and quick coding method then a full new track to technically add an extra 7 track to the making the total technically 14 track. Well technically 10.5 as only the right and left are flipped.
Think you master the track let see how turn right instead of left or left instead of right will do to your memorisation.
As I totally exspectly Mirror mods along side the harder ai in Game+ oh well. We can all dream, zone out and then crash our boat because we cranking too hard or to slowerly think about the what could be add witpit increasethe game price.
Pecise rotation fun. (Plus it funny the looks I get when atampijg crank at right speed to turn or straight.😅 )
you can unlock a mirror mode for each stage in time trials! if you beat the stage in time trials flawlessly (no crashes) and speedily (under an internal par time) (you don't have to do both in one race), you'll unlock a mirror version of that stage that can be activated by pressing the D-pad.
Awee. Neat. This game just keep getting cooler. Thanks. I'll definitely br showing of that game to other when demostrating the crank.

So charming and very fun and well executed cutseen. Time to keep on cranky rowing with skill. ("I more try,I can definitely get the highscore, not crash and beat hard ai)
I just finished the demo, this game is fantastic. You've completely made a new way to control a racing game and I'm hooked. Can't wait to play the full game whenever it's done. Difficulty curve on the first race is perfect, I struggled for a while but once getting the controls down, it's a blissful experience.
The demo looks great and is super fun! I really struggled the first 2 times I tried racing, because the control scheme is so original and unlike any racing game I've played previously. By the third attempt, I got the hang of it/stopped ramming the wall repeatedly, and RowBot Rally quickly became the playdate release I'm looking forward to the most!
Happy to hear you got the hang of it! If you're keen on using the "feedback" link on this page, I'd love to hear any thoughts you have on the gameplay as a whole — tweaking it to make it easier for the final release is something I really wanna nail down.
