Howdy folks! My name is Deidre, but you can call me Retro Dee. I’m a writer, a vintage reseller, and a content creator. I grew up in the late half of the 1980’s and the 1990’s, but my love and passion has been for the 1950’s era for as long as I can remember. If I believed in past lives (and I don’t at all) I’d say I was living a great one back in the Nifty 50’s.

My main passions include music, fashion, and collecting anything from about 1954 through 1963, but it varies. I hope you will enjoy reading this blog as much as I enjoy writing it.

So grab a drink and a snack and take a trip back to a time when life was simpler and more fun: the 1950’s.

Deidre aka “Retro Dee” (also Deidre Smith) born October 12, 1984 is a writer, actress and content creator. Brought up in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dee now resides in Massachusetts with family including her cat, Holly B., whom she named after her favorite artist of all time, Charles Hardin “Buddy” Holly.
