Unfortunately, I have met many people who want yards without trees, shrubs and plants. No matter where I am, trees draw me into their shade and capture my attention. In all weather we watch the trees and hope they are not damaged. We need trees for so many reasons and this is why I started this blog; not only to share, my thoughts and photographs, but to include others who care and can give us good information. I recently read “The Hidden Life Of Trees” by Peter Wohlleben (forward by Tim Flannery) about “what they feel”, “how they communicate” and “discoveries from a secret world”. The author has professional experience yet realizes and explains why natural forests are so important. This book is not only informative but interesting and thought provoking.
As a photographer and artist I will be adding my works with comments. I have already begun to add trees to the sites I am on and will share those links with you. Please feel free to visit those sites and follow me.
