Some reasons to vote for Tenna:

• He made a huge cultural impact online, spawning many AU’s, fanfiction, fanart, ASMR Videos, a dating sim fangame and much more! People are feral for this TV!
• He’s middle aged, past his prime and terrified of becoming obsolete (so we must show him that he’s loved!)
• He’s bad with modern technology and doesn’t even know what an e-mail is
• He is a deeply flawed, relatable comfort character for many
• He’d be the FIRST object head to win the contest!
• He is canonically queer
• He canonically whines when he’s asking for a walk and wants you to be gentle if you want to touch that dial (yep, he says that)
• He introduced a lot of people to wireplay and contributed a lot to the entire robo smut genre (a lot of new tags exist solely because of him)

Honestly, I think we need to be paying more attention to the game boards– both the altered versions and the Original Game. They actually predict/foreshadow a shocking number of things about chapter 5 (though the importance of those details ranges from ‘negligible’ to 'says what’s going to happen almost word-for-word’).

• Falling peaches
• A flower, torn in half
• Progressing by jumping down a hole
• The perspective-shifting mechanic. Seriously.

These two rooms connect directly to one another, and there’s no real reason for the stylistic departure.

Tenna is the first time in all my years as a black person in fandom spaces that I have ever seen people almost entirely unanimously agree that a non-human character with no race-coding one way or the other was black and there be absolutely no argument about it from people who might happen to think otherwise, so to watch people just suddenly try to boil him down to some white guy in a suit legitimately drives me nuts. Like be so fucking serious right now.

I didn’t watch people start to research all sorts of black entertainers and TV stars and be excited to learn about people I’ve loved and looked up to for years for you people to call Tenna a white man and then double down on it just because you don’t like him.
