I agree with all of it! And while racism, misogyny and queer-baiting aren't exactly new on this show, it seems so much worse than usual this time around. Especially in contrast to S8, where they actually seemed to be trying, at least most of the time. And now the writing is shoddier than ever before too: recycled plots, gratuitous retcons, flat humour, real-world obliviousness, pointless character-deaths and write-offs, fan-pandering that makes no sense, while reasonable fan requests are roundly ignored, set-ups that fizzle out without actual resolution/are fixed via deus ex machina... Just gross.
This season had a lot of potential, especially in episodes 1&2, but it's deteriorated into an ugly mess since then.
