So, news about this is going around... But I have to admit I'm not even a little bit excited about it. I watch the show almost exclusively for the main characters these days. The mythology has been inconsistent for a while now and they stopped bringing anything truly revolutionary. Whenever they do come up with something new, the execution is usually disappointing. Originally interesting storylines are resolved unsatisfyingly easily or retconned for momentary convenience. And if there's anything this show is terrible at (besides, well, feminism, obviously), it's coming up with engaging side-characters and -- more importantly -- finding something interesting for them to do if they stick around for more than five minutes. So, a myth-based show without the leads? No thanks. It'd probably be like the teenage werewolf episode last season and I couldn't have cared less about that.
