7th sin - [voice, action]
[It's taken Kratos a few days to finally make an important announcement. To be honest, it's a hard hit for him. Despite how things had been between them back home when Kratos arrived in Luceti, Yuan was still his closest companion. Now that he knew how things would play out back home as well, it only served to make Kratos' chest feel more heavy.
Nevertheless, he does what needs to be done.]
For those who knew him... Yuan has been sent home.
[...]
I apologize.
[He says nothing more.]
[Action]
[Once night falls, Kratos can be seen on the rooftop of house eight, looking at the stars. He'll answer if called to, but don't expect much--he feels even less talkative than usual.]

[Action]
As she nears house #8, her eyes fall on a mysterious, shady figure on the rooftop. Is that... It must be a burglar trying to break into an unsuspecting resident's home! Maybe even a killer! Patty will have none of that.
Her hand finds its way to her revolver and she drops herself to a low crouch, slowly making her way closer to the house. She's trying not to make any sounds, but there's bound to be a few twigs breaking and dead leaves crunching.]
[Action]
Show yourself! [His tone is stern.]
[Action]
No! You show yourself first, you cad!
[Action]
You're being absurd. [Still, he doesn't reach for his sword--the voice sounds like it belongs to a child. However, he still keeps his guard up, ready to draw his weapon at any given point.]
[Action]
You've got nowhere to run! Just come down here with your hands in the air so you can face justice!

[He knows things will get better in his world, from what Yuan himself had told Kratos when he arrived. Despite that, and despite knowing he has to accept Yuan's absence... it's difficult. Yuan is his closest friend. His oldest ally, now that he and Mithos are estranged. It will take getting used to, even if part of him likely won't.]
I'm sure Yuan will do what he can to help better our world.
[Voice]
[Voice]
[And while Yuan can take care of himself... he's also reckless on occasion. Who knows what the man had gotten himself into in the time that predates Kratos--or perhaps even the Kratos before him.]

So he's finally gone back. [Finally. As if he should be happy, satisfied, or at least relieved, but instead he feels almost nothing. When is the last time they even crossed paths? He doesn't even know what awaits Yuan in that world. Nor does he care, as long as no happiness touches him, and he's sure it won't. Not for someone so undeserving.]
[voice - private]
...yes, he has. [A pause.] I find it surprising that you responded.
[voice - private]
He was worse than a cockroach. [Nothing he did could get rid of him. But now...]
[voice - private]
[He's not naive.]
I still don't understand your motive for responding, considering that very fact.

Finally, she says very softly:] Oh.
Thank you for telling everyone, Kratos.
[Voice]
[If memory served him correctly, this woman was someone Yuan had known...]
This is... as much of a shock to me as it must be to you.
[Voice]
[It isn't nice to be alone when you're sad--not for her. That only makes you even sadder.]
[Voice]
[He doesn't know how good of company he'll be, but Kratos knows he doesn't truly want to be alone right now. Likely shouldn't be. He had dealt with many people coming and going, he's dealt with his son being among those people...
But Yuan had been there the entire time he had. Longer than that.
Kratos could use the company, especially from a mutual friend of Yuan's.]
Is there any specific place you would like to meet?

[action] Look at us winning.
[action] We are clearly just as awesome as Grune and Kratos here.
[action]
And then he notices someone on the roof. Huh. Talk about stupid...or daring. Isn't he afraid he'll fall off? He can't see very well in the dark so he stands there, adjusting his vision, trying to make out the person.]

[There's a definite note of surprise in Emil's voice. Yuan had been here even longer than he had... the idea of him going home is so completely foreign that he isn't even sure what to be feeling right now.]
... it's about time, I guess. He'd been here even longer than I have. If anyone deserved a chance to go home, it's him.
[Voice]
[It's hard to ignore the heavy weight Yuan's absence brings.]
I will not argue that he deserved that chance. I'm happy for him, in that regard. [Which isn't a lie... but it doesn't make anything easier, either.]
[Voice]
[Yeah, by now he's very familiar with that feeling.]
[Voice]
...Yuan has his obligations to our world. If anything, it's good that he's finally able to return and carry on with them.
