Hi all.
Life has been everywhere and then some lately. For starters, I got a job as an RN in a telemetry unit. I've been oriented every which way, and I'll start floor work on Wednesday. As this is my first grown up job, I am reasonably freaked out.
As a result, I've been asleep on my feet half the time, and moodly avoiding people the other half. So, yeah, haven't been too active on lj. Sry. :(
I have been drawing a bit, though, and decided to post one of my drawings here. As of late, I have been mildly obsessed with Sherlock Holmes - not just RDJ Sherlock, but Sherlock in general. So, I sook out a few of the various books and movies, and... well, this is what happens when you watch "The Seven Per Cent Solution" and "The Great Mouse Detective" right on top of one another:

Yeah. That's Basil of Baker Street shooting morphine. I'm sorry if I ruined any childhoods out there. On the plus side, it's been ages since I've drawn Disney style, and this was quite a lot of fun. Also on the plus side, I suppose I could have drawn them fucking, which would have been much worse.

Date: 2010-03-09 10:15 pm (UTC)I'm glad you like this! I'm also sorry that I haven't been around - basically, my head has been under the sand for the last two weeks, when I'm not burried under a pile of forms to fill out. Already I'm behind on things, which just makes me grind my teeth.

Date: 2010-03-09 10:20 pm (UTC)I love you two, hon. *hugs*. Thanks for being so sweet and patient with me. Now I'm going to head over to your lj and read and comment on one of your fics. At the rate you're writing, if I do one a day, I should be caught up in a few weeks. :)
*hugs you again*
