Merry Christmas!

 My house isn't decorated like usual because it's just me this year ... Covid-19 has all of my family at their homes staying safe and healthy ... but I tried to give myself a bit of Christmas ... no big tree just the little one on the table ...

December Daily decorated

 got it all decorated with old Christmas cards, scrap Christmas paper, die cuts, bit and pieces from friends, and some tags I have made thru the years ... it's been fun and now I will be finishing it off with pages to hold the Christmas cards I have received this year ... I learned that next year I need a much thicker book because this one has exploded ... lol ... this is a photo intense post as all of the days are shown! Each page has a journal card or space on the page that I have written something from that day and a few have photos ... as I look thru these photos I realize there are a few places I still need to do a bit more to ...

Oh on day 21 I wrote that I will be out to look at the planets Saturn and Jupiter converge to form the brights light up in the sky in the last 800 years .... I am sure some of you are putting that in your journal also ...

Continuing of the December Daily

 I have skipped around on the days because I have gotten ideas I just didn't want to lose ... 

this is day 2 and 3 with a bit more stuff

day 4 and 5 with a bit more the little stamps on day 5 is a tuck spot for photos or something

day 6 and 7 ... day 6 still needs work

then we skip to day 18 and 19 still works in progress

now this is days 14 with things Joan W sent me and will always remind me of her and 15 is a paper CD holder that Teresa E sent me that will always remind me of her  

Days 16 and 17 are dedicated to Poinsettias my Mother loved them and so do I my house is full of them when the Christmas season starts

My first December Daily

 Well, I will start out by saying since this is 2020 there won't be much put in this one ... all of my family are sequestering in their own homes ... my son and his family are in OR and won't be traveling, my daughter and her family in TX have a member that needs some repair surgery that can't be done till next year so we can only see each other outside with masks and 6 ft apart ... I will be going out there to deliver some presents but only stay an hour or so ... anyway, it will be a Christmas to remember just not in the usual way ... 

Now back to my December Daily ... I thought it wouldn't need much room so I made it out of old Christmas cards and scrapbook paper leftovers. I now realize I should have made it with a larger spine because me being me I have already altered it like it was an Altered Book, so I may have to take it apart and put a larger spine on it we will see how it ends up ...
