Early in his life, when he was young, Merlin began to dream of different worlds, where different events had occurred and different people lived, Some were quite fantastic. Just after one such dream, Merlin was drawn for the first time to Milliways, a bar that floated on an asteroid at the end of the Multiverse.

There he had many adventures, meeting many brave faces, including a fair friend who he would forever remember named Marion. He passed back and forth from this place to his own world several times over the first few years he adventured, and it was a solace to him.

When his time there passed, and life passed it by, he slowly came to see it as having been one of his dreams of worlds and possibilities. Milliways did not much change him, though he found much there and some people there who found places in his heart. It fell seamlessly into his life at that point, and as with so much else that had no compare, he never old a soul about it.
