I repeat, legislation to extend TEMPORARY Protected Status will never pass the Senate. I’m grateful for the Supreme Court’s ruling today that fully aligns with the plain language of the TPS statute Congress enacted into law over 30 years ago. The abuse of TPS must end.This is dead on arrival in the Senate. Temporary Protected Status is just that: temporary. Beyond that, 91% of all Haitian TPS holders entered the country illegally. In the last election, the American people rejected mass migration policies that effectively grant amnesty to - Democrats voted for the largest tax increase in American history because they want to spend your money on free stuff for illegal aliens. Senate Republicans cut taxes and made sure that illegal aliens can no longer receive taxpayer-funded benefits.
