walgesang | The Joy Who Lived and things that are making me happy

I spent most of the day with my favorite valentines, the birds (it's the Great Backyard Bird Count!), but this event came across my feed today and I'm so happy about it!

The Joy Who Lived is a trans/gnc theater and comedy festival that was born out of a desire to boost trans and nonbinary art during JKR's theater run. Their about page has a good recap of how successful things were (and I guess this is how I found out one half of the Doubleclicks is trans. Very cool!)

But something even more cool! They are doing a live performance that also will be available online on Feb 19th called Ocean 11: But Make It Trans, which is what is says on the tin. A live reading of Oceans 11. Check out this incredible lineup!
