Welcome to Willow Creek Farm! We are located in the High Plains of Colorado, northeast of Denver. We have been homesteading for 20 years now to raise food for our family. Our homestead has grown a lot over the years and we have raised all different types of livestock for eggs, meat, and milk production and gardened extensively, all with the focus of feeding our family off the land. As with all homesteads, what we do has shifted over the years as we grow. In addition to raising food for our own family, we have now expanded and we breed, raise, and sell purebred registered Bluefaced Leicester (BFL) sheep and BFL cross sheep (ColoradoBFL.com).
One of our daughters fell in love with the farm lifestyle, and now that she has graduated owns her own flock of Teeswater, Merino, and Teeswater/Merino-cross sheep, as well as high-quality Nubian milk goats. You can find her at Untold Glory Farm.

We aim to selectively breed for certain traits in each of our hoofstock, breeding high-quality breed-specific stock that excel at production. We keep a close eye on conformation, ensuring quality conformation is not lost even while we focus on improving fleece or dairy qualities. We like to do things as naturally as possible and therefore breed for good birthing and mothering qualities in all of our animals. We like to leave babies with their mothers as long as possible, and milk-share until weaning with our milk-producing livestock, encouraging good mothering qualities. We are a smaller farm and handle our animals regularly, so other qualities we also breed for and train in are friendliness and ease of handling. Many people are surprised when they come to the farm because the sheep and goats come right to us for affection and enjoy interacting with humans. Check out our website dedicated specifically to our BFL and BFL Cross sheep at ColoradoBFL.com.
