[On thursday, SURPRISE, it is the official last day of school! Classes had already been winding down over the past few weeks, and an extra few days were thrown in to make up for the missing days from the interruptions. But it has been hot, and it is now time for the summer recess! As usual the last day coincides with a small party at lunch, including snacks and lemonade - so if anyone wishes to mingle, they're welcome to!
Other parts of Raine's day will be spent dropping in at the tea shop and library - possibly for meetings and research.]
---
[Friday comes with a few other activities; after tending to some morning gardening outside house 42, Raine heads over to the Flower Shop to do some organizing, and finds a few items and flowers missing - some spur of the moment fun provided by a certain someone of piratical nature, a pattern that had been growing over the past few days. She had been purposefully ignoring it, but the man just begged to be noticed.
Still - there are other errands she might be spotted on, including as heading to the item shop to gather new supplies and plants in a wheelbarrow, as more items tend to be shifted in during the summer months. Most of the time she'll be working, and chatting if anyone comes in. It's a good shop day.
At some point during the day, she makes a small announcement as well:]

Hello, everyone, this is Raine Sage. Today I come to you with a request of sorts - I've been considering giving the Flower Shop a new name for some time now, though I've found it difficult to come up with ideas. If anyone has a suggestion or two, I'm curious to hear them!
That aside, the school is officially in recess for the summer, but if anyone would like tutoring, I'm willing to make arrangements with you. Also, I had a few ideas for some activities, which would be open to anyone to join, not just students. I've been thinking that we could have a world sharing meet up at the battle dome every - Wednesday? And if anyone is interested in joining me, we could have nature walks one day a week as well - on Mondays? The time of day may vary, but hopefully we can discuss it further.
Lastly, there is a new arrival cycle upon us, so I just want to make sure everyone knows how to find the guide as well. [The instructions are in text.]
Thank you for your time --
-- Oh, and be mindful of any pirates around that may be bearing flowers.

Actually, Luke rather likes school, and all of his teachers, so being without it for a few months doesn't hold the same promise for him as it might for others. The important thing is they're having a final-day party. With snacks.
Which he is eating as he takes a sharp turn right into the back of one Professor Sage.]

Helios will give a happy laugh as he leans back into his chair, triumphant and pleased with these results. ]
[Action]
Hearing Helios's laughter from nearby, she heads over in that direction, guided by curiosity. While he's usually open and friendly, it's rare to see him this pleased.]

[This is much later in the day on Friday, where Law comes to meet with Raine after Thursday didn't work out due to Law caught on duty and unable to get away from work at all to meet up about the skeleton.
Then he heard the journal message, and after shaking his head at Sparrow for two minutes straight, decided to do a little teasing of his own.
Which brings us to the rough bouquet of wildflowers he's brought.]
Looks like I'm in trouble now.
[Action]
Seems like my warnings were warranted, after all. Well played, Mr. Law.

Those days were fortunately behind him now, and he pokes around at the morning glories he has planted each year since ... well, his takeover of the garden.
He yawns as he walks past Raine's section of the garden on his way to the shed, pausing in front to watch her work for a moment.]

The distinct sensation of mana - half-elven, too familiar - announces that he misjudged. He pauses in his step, but he doesn't turn to leave. Instead, he'll quietly go about his business, picking his way over to the seed bin.]

The tingling of the door chime is enough to alert the presence of a visitor, though the sensation of mana is the immediate sign of announcing who it really is. Nonetheless, Raine will continue her work. She happens to be on the opposite side of the room from him, having just stepped out of the greenhouse, checking on the window plants on the other side of the wind barrier.]

[Is that... Billy responding to something two months late? No, it couldn't be. That actually sounds New Feather-ish in nature.]
Well, we do have a lot of time on our hands, unfortunately. There's a longer explanation in the guide I referenced here.
