Eskel will be taken from the collective Witcherverse, though it seems like most of his backstory would be derived from the oldest game, which requires more research on my part, though I have done a bit of reading on the subject.
Eskel is perhaps the most overtly warm of the surviving Wolves, being possessed of a polite and sometimes even cheery disposition. This is perhaps compensation for the initial shock of his extensive facial injury, which he knows can be frightening. He has a fairly self-deprecating sense of humor about it, even though in the grand scheme of injuries, it mostly just adds to his rugged charm. It also glosses over the tragedy of such an extensive injury, acquired in an incident that Eskel would prefer not to recollect.
{{Because I am prone to morbidity, I have chosen to play Eskel from the perspective of having failed The Price of Neutrality" and having hunted down and killed his fugitive eclipse princess in an effort to clean up what he perceives to have been "his" mess for avoiding destiny.}}
He is stronger in magic than any of his brothers, so much so that he generates an unusually strong resonance in magic users.
He is fond of strong drink, having become fall-down-drunk on more than one occasion. He has also at least dabbled in the use of fisstech.
His best friend may or may not be a goat, which demonstrates that long stretches in the vastness of Kaer Morhen and the surrounding countryside may not be good for a man's brains.
