yesterday:

• texas government officials are told by governor abbott to investigate trans children and prosecute their parents for child abuse
• late at night in the us, russia starts invading ukraine

today, when i woke up this morning:

• putin promises retaliation like no one has ever seen if anyone interrupts his invasion
• florida signs "don't say gay" bill into law
• im SURE there's more going on than just this, it's just that this is all i've seen so far

it's fucking NOON right now.

i'm already fucking exhausted.

i just know it's gonna escalate from here.

i've decided to try journaling again, because i'm full of thoughts all the time and constantly struggle to express them to other people. maybe it'll feel easier if im talking to a text box on a website

also i just spent the last month or so slowly backreading my old deadjournal and archiving it, so. that absolutely got me into the headspace of trying this again lmao
