Initially I didn't see anything exciting about Windows 7. Then, all of a sudden, my father decided to get a new desktop--our old one was from 2003 and did not run very well anymore. So now, about a week after I hear about it, there's a nice new desktop in the upstairs at my house. <3 And granted, pretty much everything that I've been impressed by is aesthetic. I think I might actually still prefer Windows Vista--which is unfortunate--but whatever. Paint. <3 Oh, paint is glorious in Windows 7--several steps above its previous incarnation. I have got to see if there's a way to get the newer version onto my laptop. Really, I'm just so amazed by the brush choices; hell, that there ARE brush choices! Oh, oh, oh. I'm not so excited about the setup; I think they did it this way so that it would resemble Apple machines. *shrug* I've actually always preferred the Windows setup.

Mostly, I'm impressed by Paint--and the sleekness of the computer. But that's not so much Windows 7, nor even Windows. I just haven't seen a new desktop in ages. I've gotten a new laptop within the past three years and a new netbook last winter, but I haven't seen a desktop that's newer than... I'd say between '03 and '05 at the very most.

Oh, wow. <3 It's just so much faster, thinner, and prettier. (I do like the themes as well. But, like I said--aesthetic pleasures.)

Also, the season premiere of Leverage is nice. <3
