Hi, I’m Lilly Grace Brown, lover of Jesus Christ, wife of one for 23 years, and mother of four (one awaiting us in heaven). I have worked in the field of mental health as a therapist and I have served in Women’s Ministry for over nine years and in church leadership for countless years prior to that in a variety of positions. I have taught theology and leadership and mentor women. I’m a sometimes musician and singer. Oh, and I write.
My current work in progress (WIP) is tentatively titled “Lessons from the Trenches: Encouraging Women in a Difficult Marriages.” It’s all about sanctification, friends. But then isn’t all of life? This blog is really more about the work God is doing in me an in you to grow us more and more into the image of His son, Jesus Christ. Finding our satisfaction in Him, can bring about our deepest joy, regardless of our circumstances. But sometimes I need to be reminded of that myself.
With help, coming alongside one another, the journey can be just a little easier to endure and persevere through, and at times we might just *gasp!* experience joy. If that sounds like something you would like, then I hope you would come back and visit me again soon.
