I started “The Whims of Fairness” so I could comment on creativity, writing, acting, and the questions that pop out of the tall grass to ambush us every day.
I’m a fantasy and humor writer, and an improvisational actor. My non-fiction humor e-book, Bring Us The Head Of The Velveteen Rabbit, is available at both Amazon and Barnes and Noble. My short story, “The Santa Fix,” has been published in the anthology An Honest Lie, Volume 3: Justifiable Hypocrisy, and some of my stories and essays appear at Infinite Monkeys Publishing (www.infinite-monkeys-pub.com), and . I’ve also completed two comic fantasy novels, Six White Horses, and No Good Deals, both of which I’m currently marketing.
I also work for a fine company that lets me fix problems, say sarcastic things to people, and predict disaster. As an actor, I perform improvisational theater and comedy with the Motley Players III and at Scarborough Renaissance Festival. I also teach Guerilla Theater, which is a cross between Moliere and a bar fight. My wife and I live in a house with cool skylights and an amazing kitchen, and with five cats that expect everyone to treat them like gods.

Oddly enough what caught my eye and encouraged me to explore your blog was your name. You and another blogger share the same last name (and are Freshly Pressed on the same day) and it was this coincidence that made me wonder if you were related. However it’s your writing and humor that’s made me instantly like love your writing and I have yet to read a single blog. Well done on hooking a reader with your comments alone!
I’ve wondered whether it’s creepy to use my name as the name for my blog. Honestly, I didn’t start that way. But some smart people told me that if I want anyone to ever pay actual money for something I’ve written, I should start using my name all the hell over the place, so I am. Thank you so much for the kind words, and I’m happy that you enjoyed some of my comments. I knew that my mom was just messing with me when she said to stop being a smartass.
