Tonight my wife is in downtown DC – for the first of three very hot, humid nights – to do the annual PBS program, A Capitol Fourth.
Earlier this month, I spent a long weekend running around and photographing Pittsburgh.
Why Pittsburgh?

By my count, schools are currently working through their fourth attempt at banning cell phones. Kids, not teachers, of course.
We tried when the devices could only make calls and send texts around the turn of the century. And then a couple of times after smartphones got powerful and popular.
As I mentioned in the previous entry, I recently spent ten day running around London (with a day trip to Cambridge, because why not?), looking for interesting images. There was no shortage.
