I’ve always admired Hailey Bieber’s street style, but she’s recently unlocked a new fashion superlative from me: She has the chicest travel wardrobe that’s minimal, easy to mix and match, and better yet, so simple to re-create. Her Australia looks from her recent Rhode launch gave us a peek at her packing list, but her latest trip to Japan proved she’s an expert at curating stylish travel outfits. 

On Instagram, Bieber posted a photo dump from her trip to Japan for Justin’s birthday, and besides her vintage Issey Miyake skirt suit moment, every look felt attainable. She styled glove heels with jeans and trousers, layered leather jackets with cozy sweaters, and gave a masterclass on how to rewear pieces without feeling repetitive. Bieber has been switching between her go-to cigarette jeans with black low-rise trousers and it’s the perfect duo for traveling. Outfit 2: Pencil Skirt and Boots

What charmed me the most from Bieber’s travel wardrobe is that it’s simple, but not boring. Her outfits also mixed and matched different items that she rewore throughout her trip. This date-night look reuses a similar gray V-neck top, but this time, she pairs it with a leather pencil skirt, knee-high boots, and a leather blazer. Pencil skirts are having a moment this spring, and I love that the traditionally conservative piece feels edgier and cool paired with boots and a leather jacket.

Outfit 3: Jeans and a Spring Trench

With the right accessories—a triangle scarf, interesting shoes, and cool sunnies—Bieber effortlessly elevated the classic jeans and T-shirt outfit. In this look, she rewears her favorite Reformation glove heels, but I found a similar style to shop that’s a tad more affordable. You could wear a simple T-shirt with her pencil skirt and pair it with the heels, swap the jeans with the sweater, and mix and match these pieces until the wheels fall off.
