Whether she’s having a soft-girl summer in Vancouver  or a hot-girl summer in Saint Tropez, Pamela Anderson has a very distinct vacation uniform. She consistently wears a light and airy color palette in soft fabrics and relaxed silhouettes, such as breezy dresses and loose matching separates. Anderson’s even stayed consistent with the style back in 2022, when she stepped out in those controversial Balenciaga Crocs. While I’d probably leave those particular shoes out of my suitcase, I would gladly pack her gauzy white linens, Parisian-inspired flats, and coordinating sets.

I confirmed the actress has been onto something for years regarding peak, rich-looking vacation style when I asked celebrity stylist Britt Theodora for packing advice. Similar to Anderson, Theodora says she “always loves layering white linens and silks together,” calling the look a “chic, elevated way to feel put together on vacation.” Ahead, I’ve found more ways to replicate Anderson’s timeless travel capsule wardrobe with pieces starting at $25.

Button-Downs and Basics

When auditing her suitcase before a big trip, celebrity stylist Stef Colvin says her white tank tops and T-shirts “always make the cut.” While Anderson typically keeps these staples pared down, Theodora says a few easy swaps can make them appropriate for a nice dinner. For instance, on her recent trip, she paired an oversized white T-shirt with Dôen silk lace shorts. “I would wear this look styled with a scarf around my neck or even kitten heels,” says Theodora.

Relaxed Bottoms

Grounding each one of Anderson’s looks is some version of a white, billowy bottom, whether that’s a flowy maxiskirt or relaxed-fit pull-on pants. Theodora, who says a “vintage cotton sundress is a must,” also recommends white cargo pants paired with a white button-down. In addition to softening and romanticizing looks, these bottoms are extremely comfortable. You can easily wear them all day, climbing cobblestone streets and still look polished when it’s time to settle in for a seafood dinner on the Riviera.

Thoughtful Accessories

Anderson keeps her accessories to a minimum, but selecting a few, such as her straw picnic bag and ‘90s-style sunglasses, is key to making an outfit more interesting. Colvin recommends statement accessories with “interesting details,” such as pony hair or leather accents. Meanwhile, Theodora packs items, including a  “fun beaded statement necklace,” a silk-printed scarf, or a straw hat, and uses them to revive a basic top you might’ve already worn several times on the trip. “All of these accessories are really easy ways to amp up a simple cotton T-shirt or pool cover-up,” she explains.

Polished Flats

If you haven’t picked on it by now, our ‘90s queen is also a creature of comfort, opting for flat or low-heeled shoes throughout her trips. According to Colvin, this choice simply makes the most sense from a practical standpoint.  “I would remove any heels out of the bag and replace them with a heeled wedge flip flop, so you don’t get stuck in the cobblestone,” she explains. I’ve spotted Anderson in elegant ballet flats from Vivaia, clean, slim white sneakers, and preppy loafers.
