Nearly a month later, the impact of Australian Made Week 2026 is still felt by many local manufacturerswho spent their time in the spotlight.
From 18-24 May, the green and gold kangaroo logo was unmissable as the annual campaign to celebrate Australian manufacturing took over, and businesses spruiked their Australian Made credentials.
This year’s Australian Made Week introduced a business events program that connected with organisations, businesses and communities across the country – platforming certified Australian Made businesses and industry professionals as they celebrated the week and discussed the Australian manufacturing landscape.

Australian Made Week ambassador Andy Lee inspired a cheeky new commercial, with the comedian sittingatop an Australian Made throne – made from over 50 authentic Australian Made products. Representing a range of manufacturing industries from sports and skincare to tools and thongs, the throne was meticulously crafted by hand and painted in the official Australian Made gold.

In the lead up to the Australian Made Week, Australian Made partnered with leading interior designer and stylist James Treble to present a strikingly curated showcase of Australian Made-certified products that proudly carry the iconic green-and-gold kangaroo logo.
This design-led activation demonstrated just how much of a home can be created using Australian Made products, with contributions from more than 30 businesses on display to showcase how they function within real, everyday-but-stylish living environments. Visitors were encourages to ‘swap their shop’ and consider locally made alternatives in their everyday purchasing.

The campaign kicked off with a high-profile launch at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, attended by Australian Made Week ambassador Andy Lee, and past ambassadors Ariarne Titmus OAM and Adam Liaw.The MCG is home to goal posts manufactured by Australian Made licensee Abel Sports, and the event highlighted the broader manufacturing ecosystem supporting the product, with representatives from Capral, A.R.C – The Australian Reinforcing Company, a division of InfraBuild – and C-Tech Laser joining the celebrations.
Business Chamber Queensland event at Crimsafe

Australian Made partnered with Business Chamber Queensland (BCQ) for a celebratory event with Australian Made licensee Crimsafe Security Systems on Tuesday. Commemorating 40 years of the Australian Made logo and 30 years of Crimsafe, guests were treated to a tour behind the factory doors to see local Australian manufacturing up close.
Held at Crimsafe’s manufacturing and R&D facility, the event drew over 200 attendees, who heard from Australian Made Chair Kate Carnell AO, Business Chamber Queensland CEO Heidi Cooper, and Crimsafe CEO Jim Sturgess in a panel moderated by the talented Shelley Craft.

Over 80 people attended a special presentation hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Western Australia and Australian Made on Wednesday, which discussed the significance of Australian Made Week and the importance of local manufacturing,
Attendees were treated to a panel of licensees featuring Wesbeam CEO Giles Everest, Funky Monkey Bars Co-Founder and Director Colin Burdle and Western Australia Speciality Alloys Production Superintendent Seach Hwee Goh.
Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry event

The ‘Australian Made, Victorian Led: Spotlight on Manufacturing’ event was hosted by the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Thursday, with 300 attendees gathering in Melbourne to celebrate all things Australian Made.
Guests heard from Hon. Colin Brooks and a panel of licensees, including Braille Tactile Signs Aust CEO and Founder Claudia Gatt, Bodd CEO and Co-Founder David McLaughlin and Sutton Tools Managing Director Peter Sutton.
Cato Brand Partners Chairman Dr Ken Cato AO spoke about designing the iconic green and gold kangaroo logo in a fireside chat with Australian Made Chief Executive Ben Lazzaro, and Andy Lee concluded his gig as the Australian Made Week Ambassador, gifting a signed Australian Made tracksuit from this year’s TV commercial to one lucky guest!

Over 100 Sydneysiders attended a special breakfast event with Business Sydney on Friday to wrap up Australian Made Week. Key speakers of the event included The Hon Dr Andrew Charlton MP, Business Sydney Executive Director Paul Nicolaou and Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) President Lyall Gorman.
Dr Ken Cato AO was hosted in another fireside chat about the history of the Australian Made brand, and the event concluded with a panel of Australian Made licensees featuring Mongrel Boots Managing Director Bill Cloros, Freshwater Farm Brand Director Jemma Somervail and BAB Aluminium Founder and CEO Brian Blowes.
Australian Made Campaign Ltd (AMCL) reported that over 100 licensed Australian Made businesses werefeatured in multiple activations, media publications and other opportunities over the campaign period. The organisation continues to work closely with its licensees to celebrate their products and demonstrate the importance of Australian manufacturing.
