And this folks is why we can’t get to a 100% carbon-free economy on wind, solar and storage alone. @chamath is brilliant, but on the topic of ubiquitous zero cost energy from solar … mistaken. We need fusion as part of our energy mix ASAP!

And … we did it!!! Final score: 300,000 Volts 0.164 mA = 42 Watts in a 12 cm diameter deep Vacuum. This was a major Avalanche Series A technical milestone and key enabler for efficient Q>1 Magneto-electrostatic fusion. Congrats to the whole High Voltage team so proud of you!

First journal publication on the Orbitron hybrid electrostatic-magnetic fusion confinement scheme. It’s not easy to get a new fusion scheme published, a lot of hard work went into shepherding this through peer review. Thanks to all who contributed.
