What is happening in the UK this week is appalling. It was also all completely predictable. Indeed some of us warned about exactly this scenario for years. All of it was avoidable. But all warnings were ignored.
An honour to meet Mia Schem. Hamas put her through hell in their tunnels. But she now uses her voice to speak for the hostages still in Gaza. Her bravery is astounding.
Now we know why the UK authorities kept so quiet after the slaughter of three young girls in Southport. They kept silent because the suspect had al-Qaeda manuals. They knew. They just didn’t want the public to know. Because they think the public can’t be trusted.
Mass illegal migration turns high-trust societies into low-trust ones. It turns coherent societies into incoherent ones. You can’t just address the backlash to that. You have to address the cause. Unless our leaders do that this will get infinitely worse.
After watching the raw footage of Hamas´s 7th October terrorist attack, including the constant cries of "Allahu Akbar" (not least while cutting a young man's head off with a shovel) I'm not sure I ever want to hear those words screamed on British streets ever again.
The news of the assassination of Charlie Kirk is appalling. I am thinking of his wife and children. He was a wonderful man and a trusty ally. I hope all those people who incited violence against Charlie over the years take a moment to look at what they have created.
To all the morons and Hamas-niks on the streets of London today. Hamas has been offered a ceasefire and has rejected it. So if you want to call for a ceasefire, tell your terrorist friends to accept one. And to hand back the hostages. Simples.
