The Secretary of Agriculture doesn't know how much money American farmers lost last year.

Prices continue to rise because of Trump's tariffs and foreign wars. When is he going to start paying attention to the needs of Americans being crushed by higher costs?

141 counties don't have a single NRCS staffer. American farmers deserve a USDA and administration that supports them and doesn't leave them in the dust.

The Trump Administration is leaving rural America on the back burner... and they know it too. By gutting their workforce, they are leaving my farmers and producers without the resources and support they need to thrive.

Trump's billionaire bailouts in his Big Ugly Bill were paid on the backs of our nation's most vulnerable: hungry children, veterans and older Americans.

Only 24% of EQIP applications got funded in FY25 – down from 43% the year before. Farmers are doing the work to apply, but the Trump admin gutted the staff to process them and Republicans are trying to cut funding. This is not what "pro-farmer" looks like.

10,000 Minnesotans' jobs are at risk because President Trump would rather bully allies than build with them.

Republicans had the power to push back on the tariffs gutting farm exports. They’ve continued to block anti-tariff votes instead. You can't claim to represent farm country by preventing Congress from acting on the biggest threat to it.

Trump and Republicans in Congress kicked 4 million Americans – and counting – off of basic food assistance (just $6/day) to pay for more tax handouts for millionaires and billionaires.  Trump’s Big Ugly Law is a moral disaster and must be repealed.

🚨New data: In the 8 months after H.R. 1 enacted the deepest SNAP cuts in history, the number of people receiving SNAP fell by 4+ million (-10%) nationwide. In just the 13 states with available data, 800,000+ fewer kids are receiving SNAP. cbpp.org/research/food-…
Graphic showing the change in SNAP participation from July 2024 to March 2026. Between H.R. 1's enactment in July 2025 and March 2026, the number of people receiving SNAP fell by more than 4 million.

The U.S. cattle herd is the smallest it’s been in 75 years. Now screwworm threatens to compound the issue. American ranchers are facing a real problem — and all the Trump administration wants to do is make excuses.

The healthcare and nutrition assistance cuts in Trump’s Big Ugly Law aren’t just bad for families and people in need - they’re bad for our economy.

President Trump’s One Big UGLY Bill is taking food away from children. I am working with my colleagues to restore SNAP funding so that no child ever has to go to bed hungry.

Children weren’t the target of federal food program changes, but they’re increasingly “collateral damage,” one expert said. The drop in the number of children receiving SNAP benefits is a “public health crisis” in the making, said another expert. propublica.org/article/snap-b…
