I pet Pippin. He is a 19 week old Cardigan Welsh Corgi. Pippin likes to play for 1 hour, then nap for 2. He loves people, he loves other dogs, and he loves sticks. His caregiver says Pippin has helped him meet the neighbors. People talk to him because Pippin is so cute.

I pet Bob Dylan. He is an 8 year old Corgi who was born on Bob Dylan’s birthday. Bob Dylan is on a diet right now. He barks if you say rabbit, squirrel, or kitty. When Bob Dylan (the singer) won the Nobel Prize, Bob Dylan (the dog) was confused because the TV kept saying his name

I pet Cash. He is a 3 year old Great Pyrenees in his 3rd home. He left his 1st home because he chased the chickens on the farm. He left his 2nd because their apartment didn’t allow dogs. Cash is with his forever family now. He knows he’s home because he ate his adoption papers.

I pet Bailey Warren. He is an almost 2 year old Golden Retriever. He is campaigning through Iowa to become First Dog. The most important issues he wants addressed are more Milkbones and getting rid of student debt.

I pet Precious. She is an 11 year old long-haired dachshund who is loving and gentle. Precious was rescued from an abusive home and has now been with her current caregiver for 5 years. Her favorite toy is a stuffed owl that is bigger than she is.

I pet Walter. He is an 8 week old Miniature Dachshund puppy. Walter likes to play with anything he can get in his mouth. He is very wiggly and playful. The first night in his home, he was so happy, he slept on his caregiver’s head.

I pet Remus. He is 5 years old and was rescued from a hoarder’s house. Remus had never touched grass or been on a walk. It’s been 6 mo. and Remus is a foster fail: he was adopted! He has a best dog friend named Rory, and now goes canoeing and hiking. Remus loves to be outside.

I pet Nigel. He is a 5 year old Basset Hound from CA. Nigel eats everything. Once on a walk he ate an apple. Later, he didn’t move for 4hrs and just stared. The vet found THC in his system and said the apple was likely used to smoke it. The vet said Nigel was ok, just really high

I pet Jewel. She is a 4 month old Golden Retriever. She is a well-behaved puppy. She can do many tricks: sit, stay, lie down, heel, and come. Sometimes Jewel gets string cheese as a reward. Her caregiver likes to keep her busy. His motto is “a tired dog is a good dog.”
