- 🧵California's COVID sick pay policy is now extended through Dec 31. It *was* set to expire Sept 30, but was just signed into law by Gov. Newsom. This means that many folks can still claim up to 80 hours of COVID-related paid leave for another 3 months.
- Everyone should consider taking extra or new steps to protect themselves from COVID infection during a rise in cases — even if it feels like “a step backward” for you, at this stage of the pandemic. Remember: It’s not weird to not want to get COVID.
