I don’t think most people understand the gravity of the spaceflight era we are living in. This was impossible just a few months ago. Unfathomable 10 years ago.
Spent 26 of the last 36 hours on air together — could not have asked for a better co-host for Crew-1... and new friend!!! 🚀 @whoisheartbreak, this was the best mission yet!
Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to have your goals figured out by the time you graduate high school. Or even college. It wasn’t until my senior year of college that I had a trajectory. And since then, I’ve been privileged to tell NASA’s story. Let’s go to the Moon.
After our coverage yesterday, @whoisheartbreak and I ran down to the first ever first stage booster that @SpaceX landed, just so I could stand next to it and understand its size. It seemed like the proper thing to do at nearly midnight. It was. 🚀
What’s better than a flight-proven Falcon 9? A flight-proven Falcon 9 at Christmastime 😍🚀🎄
It’s been a whole month since Crew-1 liftoff when @whoisheartbreak and I celebrated by jumping around the booster at @SpaceX 😂
Best moment.
Congratulations to all of the teams at SpaceX and NASA who poured their time and talents into this mission. You continue to do incredible, impossible things!
