- Today I met with representatives from Anthropic to discuss developments in AI and cyber security including Mythos and its recent export restriction.
- Unregulated online betting was a key concern I discussed with Horse Racing Ireland, along with proposed regulation of thoroughbred transport.
- An opportune time to talk to @SenMikeMoore in Boston on legislative developments at State and Federal level, especially given the recent proposal for a State Law Preemption to preempt certain state-level regulations on AI developers currently being proposed.
- Honoured to be invited to the Digital Policy Leadership Summit by @the_iapp and the @BKCHarvard Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University.
- Recent experience suggests that return hub provisions recently adopted by the European Parliament will increase secondary movement of migrants rather than reduce it, as claimed by proponents.
