🧢 Dress for the heat: Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing, a wide-brimmed hat, and sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun. ❤️ Check on others: Keep an eye on older adults, young children and anyone without air conditioning. 🚗 Never leave children or pets in the car.

Drowning can happen in seconds. Sending a text, going inside for a snack, or becoming distracted by a conversation can take your attention away. Designate a Water Watcher whose only responsibility is actively supervising the water with zero distractions. 📵

Last night, firefighters in Santa Ana were able to save an apartment complex from going up in flames. When crews arrived, two cypress trees burning directly next to the building were completely engulfed in flames and just seconds away from extending into the apartment complex. >
