After finally arriving home after something of my own two month odyssey abroad, I return to find copies of my newest book awaiting me. Truly an exciting day for any author. The book is a beauty. The jacket cover has a lovely texture, the print is fetching, and the author photo

It’s been often claimed that conservatives are largely non-existent in academe because they are drawn to money-making careers. Glad to see this canard utterly obliterated by the American Association of University Professors, who admit that conservatives are effectively purged

The so-called conservatives who penned this letter demonstrate no actual historical knowledge. For starters, for most of its history I.S.I. hosted a wide variety of conservative voices in its programming. I was regularly a faculty mentor and speaker in its Honors Program from

“It is the responsibility of government leaders to work to build harmonious and peaceful civil societies. This can be achieved above all by investing in the family, founded upon the stable union between a man and a woman.” —Pope Leo XIV, May 16, 2025

Buy and keep real things. Books. Vinyl. Instruments. Art supplies. This destruction of actual things that you can own and keep, replaced by permanent renting of “virtual” content, is what they are aiming at.

Meet the new iPad Pro: the thinnest product we’ve ever created, the most advanced display we’ve ever produced, with the incredible power of the M4 chip. Just imagine all the things it’ll be used to create.

This smacks of opportunism. ISI does not push Fuentes at all. Conflating him and Deneen and Burtka is calumny. ISI used to publish in its catalog of books thinkers at least if not more radical than Deneen: James Schall, Chantel Delsol, John Lukacs, or books on figures like

I’m so deeply impressed by this new tome by @JamesWHankins1 and Allen Guelzo. Not only is its authors’ deep learning evident on every page, but it is physically a book of beauty and durability, meant to be owned, read, reread, and admired by and for many generations.

One of the most powerful and unforgettable moments of his Papacy. May Pope Francis rest in the peace of Christ, and may his successor sustain and advance His Church in these troubled times.

I want to very publicly thank @michaelbd for his vigorous defense of me and others against a vicious smear campaign, in which people have been willing to bear false witness and outright lie for the sake of maintaining institutional power. Michael and I have had some strenuous

I’m about to begin my 28th year as a professor. Over that span, I have been blessed to teach many truly excellent young people, rich in intellect and of exemplary character. Spending a few days in DC, I was able to gather together a few of the “generations,” many of whom did not

Pope Leo XIV explains his choice of name: "... I chose to take the name Leo XIV. There are different reasons for this, but mainly because Pope Leo XIII in his historic Encyclical Rerum Novarum addressed the social question in the context of the first great industrial revolution.
