The documents make it clear that assertions by the NIH Director, Francis Collins, and the NIAID Director, Anthony Fauci, that the NIH did not support gain-of-function research or potential pandemic pathogen enhancement at WIV are untruthful.

COVID: summary of lab-origin hypothesis: 1) Pandemic caused by a bat SARS-like coronavirus emerged in Wuhan--a city 1,000 miles from nearest wild bats with SARS-like coronaviruses, but that contains labs conducting world's largest research program on bat SARS-like coronaviruses.

The NIH received the relevant documents in 2018 and reviewed the documents in 2020 and again in 2021. The NIH--specifically, Collins, Fauci, and Tabak--lied to Congress, lied to the press, and lied to the public. Knowingly. Willfully. Brazenly.

The materials confirm the grants supported the construction--in Wuhan--of novel chimeric SARS-related coronaviruses that combined a spike gene from one coronavirus with genetic information from another coronavirus, and confirmed the resulting viruses could infect human cells.

Fauci "prompted" Andersen to publish a 2020 paper claiming COVID did not have a lab origin, and just two months after publication awarded Andersen $8.9 million. Fauci's chief-of-staff Folkers misspelled Andersen name in emails as "Anders$n" to evade FOIA searches on "Andersen."

Letter provides evidence NIH official Greg Folkers intentionally misspelled Kristian Andersen's name by substituting a "$" in place of the second "e" -- "anders$n" -- in order to get around FOIA.

The CIA analysis supporting lab origin of COVID was completed and published internally during the Biden administration. It was withheld from the public by the Biden administration in violation of the COVID-19 Origin Act of 2023, which mandated release.

The NYT today ran a column by its columnist Lydia Polgreen claiming that "Suggesting a transgender link to Kirk's murder is as awful as it is dangerous." In other words, the NYT now openly affirms its belief that accurately reporting facts is "as awful as it is dangerous."

The materials show that the 2014 and 2019 NIH grants to EcoHealth with subcontracts to WIV funded gain-of-function research as defined in federal policies in effect in 2014-2017 and potential pandemic pathogen enhancement as defined in federal policies in effect in 2017-present.
