- Look out for each other and report suspicious persons or activity. 
- Use public transit options to get to, from, and around Pride events. 
- If driving, remember to "Park Smart!".

1. **Choose Fire-Safe Hotels**
   - Look for hotels equipped with smoke alarms, sprinklers, and clearly marked exits.
   - In the U.S., ensure that properties comply with local fire codes and NFPA standards (National Fire Protection Association).

2. **Ask About Emergency Procedures**
   - Inquire at the front desk: “What is the fire evacuation plan?”
   - Find out if there are alarms with flashing lights (especially important for guests with hearing impairments).

🚪 WHEN YOU ARRIVE

1. **Locate the Exits**
