- On America’s 250th birthday, this Trump Park Service gag order betrays basic free speech values. Americans need & deserve to know about dangers in national parks. Secrecy serves no purpose.
- Farmington & Avon come together last night for a rousing celebration of America’s 250th. Both towns turned out with patriotism & passion.
- AI safety requires Congressional action—as many seem to believe, but avoid supporting specifics. The Hawley-Blumenthal framework provides a good beginning.
- Musk must be held accountable for Tesla crashes & misleading pitches about Full Self Driving. NHTSA is often too long & lax in investigating crashes. Musk’s self driving MO: over promise & under deliver.
- A draconian 18% health insurance rate hike is unaffordable & unacceptable, especially as prices for everything else are rocketing upward. I’m demanding our state Insurance Commissioner stop it.
- Promising & important agreement between Israel & Lebanon, with U.S. involvement, providing a path toward peace—disarming Hezbollah & preventing attacks.This brave Israel-Lebanon agreement, a first in 40 years, is a bold beginning of potential peace—a historic new chapter. It counters Iran’s malign campaign to sow war.
- Trump's cryptocurrency ventures are another attempt by the President to pad his pockets. I joined @OutFrontCNN last night demanding an investigation into reports of a secret investment by an Emirati Royal into the Trump family's cryptocurrency business.
