    The Amazon is on fire. Ecosia plants trees in the adjacent Atlantic Forest, a former rainforest of which only 8% remains. We need to stop this from happening to the Amazon - the lungs of the world.

    Loving this wave of new users!!! A little reminder to please use Ecosia like you would use another search engine - you’ll plant more trees as a long term user than by doing 100 searches in an hour, which will be detected as spam 🥲

    Right now there's 300 gigatonnes of CO2 in the air. Covering the available land on our planet with trees (0.9 billion hectares) would store 205 gigatonnes of CO2. So we'd be damn close. @MrBeastYT let's team up! Love from Ecosia, the search engine that plants trees.
