Trying to force Justin Jones out of the Tennessee Capitol has never worked. For years, he’d be removed during protests and kept returning. In 2019, he was banned for months after being arrested. He went on to become an elected official there. He’ll likely be reappointed.

Georgia Lt. Gov Jeff Duncan (R) just said on CNN he waited in line for an hour to vote today, but couldn’t bring himself to cast a ballot and left without voting. He says Herschel hasn’t shown he wouldn’t be “Trump’s puppet.”

The latest Herschel Walker abortion scandal is on CNN and yes, all the DC folks are aware. But 11 Alive in Atlanta tonight led with crime, followed by more crime — so until Democrats take out ads about it, don’t assume voters in Georgia are aware or actively thinking about this.

I was sitting in a hallway accessible to the general public when the hotel’s head of security approached, saying the RNC told him to instruct me to leave the premises and not return until Friday’s “open press” event. I’m a paying guest of the hotel.

The RNC now has security in Salt Lake City interrupting conversations, asking reporters for their room numbers and telling them they should not be interviewing people. For a party that might, in some normal universe, be celebrating its midterm prospects, this is peak insecurity
