Rahul Gandhi’s speech in the Lok Sabha today in which he yet again invoked his family reminds us that he has learned nothing. It is this sense of entitlement and birthright that continues to make Modi our most credible leader.
Who else is as tired as I am about hearing of 22 political parties complaining to the Election Commission. We know we are talking about 22 families. Almost every party a family firm. So it’s 22 families trying to invalidate the Indian election. Wow!
I am no fan of the Dynasty. But, If Priyanka Gandhi was trying to help helpless people get home she needs praise not stupid debates on TV about her motivation.
Disappointing to hear senior Congress leaders continue to assert that Modi’s massive mandate came only because of marketing. Congress will not revive until it stops insulting the intelligence of Indian voters.
Priyanka Gandhi just told Rajdeep Sardesai that no Indian politician has been more maligned than her brother. Does she not remember how Narendra Modi was maligned to the point that he was denied a visa to the USA till he became PM?
Compared to what Savarkar and other revolutionary freedom fighters endured in prison, Gandhi and Nehru’s prison terms were just rough boarding schools. Reading Savarkar’s two recent biographies I am constantly astounded that they survived.
Why was he in an Indian jail for five years? Why was he not tried and punished by a fast track terrorist court? Had this been done India would not have been forced to release him to save the passengers of IC814.
What is wrong with our opposition leaders that they put their interests above the interests of the country at this point? Did Indira Gandhi consult the opposition before the Bangladesh war?
